Nasi lemak bajet popular kat Alor Setar. 40 tahun meniaga dah ikutkan ke kata Pak Daq dan orang setempat. Pelbagai jenis nasi lemak ada jual kat sini - ayam, daging, telur, udang, sotong, dll. Harga memang berpatutan (RM2.50 sebungkus). Nasi pun padat. Air pun Pak Daq jual murah, ada teh o, teh tarik, kopi, tapi tak sempat merasa sebab bungkus nasi bawa balik. Tapi kena datang awal sebab kalau pukul 8 pagi memang habis licin nasi. Pukul 7:30 pagi pun dah banyak nasi lemak yang terjual.

If you’re looking to hunt down a true piece of Kedah heritage, you need to put Pak Daq’s stall on your map. This isn't your typical Nasi Lemak. From my understanding, Nasi Lemak Kedah (NSK) is basically the "Nasi Minyak Berlauk". Instead of just coconut milk rice, you’re getting fragrant, buttery rice cooked with spices, paired with a killer selection of proteins drenched in either sambal, rich coconut gravy, or savory soy sauce. It’s indeed a hearty breakfast to start your day right. Here’s the lowdown if you’re planning a visit: Parking: The stall is tucked away in a narrow alley. Don't stress—just find a spot along the main road and walk in. ⏰ The Golden Hour: You better be there before 7:00 AM. If you want the best lauk (side dishes), you’ve got to be ready to "battle" the early birds. Wallet-Friendly: At only RM2.50 per pack, it’s a total steal. Even the drinks are old-school cheap! Pro-Tip: It’s dark out there that early! Bring a headlamp or use your phone torch so you can actually see the glorious food choices while you're queuing in the dark.
